The search for the Fragmented Star leads the PCs to Kaer Maga, a legendary city of criminals, refugees, and anyone looking to disappear in its crowded streets. Enlisted to rescue a troll prophet from the hanging mansion of a mad artisan, the PCs soon find themselves delving into the notorious Undercity. There, they must make their way through the lost laboratory of a rune lord before finally entering the mysterious and cavernous realm known as the Dark Forest, where an ancient evil has been protecting a lost fragment for millennia. Will the PCs be able to retrieve the fragment from its wicked guardians and continue their search, or will they simply be the last lost souls in the City of Strangers?
