The Z105 PC/EL writing tip is made up of a special round tip outline, ideal for smooth (shiny) surfaces. This tip is currently mounted on the first generation of LAMY AL-star black EMR and has been replaced by the PC/EL tip with a Pointier outline as standard. The tip of a digital pen is the fundamental element to simulate as closely as possible the writing behavior of a traditional writing instrument on paper. When using screen protectors, PC/EL tips are suitable for hard and smooth surfaces (similar to glass) and POM tips for hard and matte surfaces (similar to paper).
